Empire Roofing & Water Proofing is a small, locally based contractor on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We focus on roofing, waterproofing and water-related property support for residential and commercial buildings throughout New York City.
Our work tends to start with a simple question from a property owner: there's a stain on the ceiling, a drip after the rain, a soft patch on a wall, or a roof that just doesn't seem right anymore. We come out, take a careful look, and explain what we find in plain language.

Each comes with its own quirks when it comes to roofs, parapets, terraces and water management, and we adjust our approach accordingly.
How We Work
We aim to be the kind of contractor that's easy to deal with: clear estimates, realistic timelines, tidy job sites and honest answers. We won't recommend a full roof replacement if a targeted repair will hold. We won't push waterproofing work that isn't actually addressing the problem.
